Droppings

The Droppings is a series of two individual abstract sculptures inspired by nature. The organic shapes resemble growing plants, like pumpkins and mushrooms, while the black and yellow patterns look like camouflage stripes of animal skins. Not only adults are drawn to the works, also children are instinctivly attracted and play on the sculptures. The mozaics are made of frost resistant tiles. The Droppings fit well indoors as well as outdoors, and have been exhibited in sculpture gardens and, for instance, at Retort Art Space in Amsterdam and Kunstverein Springhornhof in Germany.
