During the summer of 2012 Erik Wuthrich worked at Zuiderzeemuseum as artist-in-residence. The museum visitors could see him at work and were allowed to interact with the artist at work. The theme of the art project was The Colour of Water. Zuiderzeemuseum made a video of Erik Wuthrich while working on a new pond sculpture, titled Floating Fountain. The top layer of this piece consists of a mozaics of frost-resistant ceramic tiles inspired by patterns and shapes he stumbled upon at the museum. The diary of this artist-in-residency is available in these 4 blog posts, week 1 – week 2 – week 3 – week 4.
